Arte Laguna Prize, la mia photo-gallery!

A quasi due settimane dalla mia esperienza veneziana, ho ancora la testa nella laguna e un pochino anche il cuore. Aveva proprio ragione Martina Bonci, la riccia fanciulla coordinatrice dello staff che ha collaborato alla realizzazione (e allo smantellamento incombente!) del Premio Arte Laguna, in chiusura il prossimo 3 aprile: fare da assistant per una manifestazione del genere, per giunta in un posto magico come l'Arsenale, va ben oltre le aspettative che ciascuno di noi poteva avere prima di partire.

Almeno, io confermo la sua visione e, se ne avessi l'occasione, ve l'assicuro, lo rifarei. Sarà che sono arrivata a conoscere il Premio adesso che ha maturato già dieci edizioni e che, davvero, il clima che ho respirato negli spazi dell'immenso ex cantiere navale veneziano era davvero internazionale. I finalisti e i vincitori di quest'anno erano 120 e provenivano da ben 35 Paesi differenti, come dire il mondo miniatura racchiuso nei tre affascinanti stanzoni delle Nappe.

Anno dopo anno, Arte Laguna Prize sembra cioè essere diventato uno dei più prestigiosi premi nell'ambiente dell'arte contemporanea.

Anche senza saperne nulla, comunque, bastava guardare l'entusiasmo dei vincitori chiamati sul palco a ricevere il proprio riconoscimento. Devo perciò dare ragione anche a Laura Gallon, una delle due fondatrici (con Beatrice Susa) della manifestazione, sul fatto che per me, scribacchina e pennivendola, era piuttosto importante essere lì nei giorni a ridosso dell'inaugurazione e durante quest'ultima.

Se avessi partecipato solo all'allestimento o alla fase di guardiania, non avrei infatti potuto avvertire anche dentro di me la tensione degli ultimi preparativi e il successivo (temporaneo...) rilassamento di tutto lo staff, una volta che la cerimonia di apertura si era avviata a conclusione.

Insomma, mi sono fatta un bel regalo pre-pasquale. Ed è ben per questo che ci tenevo a ricambiare chi ha condiviso con me l'esperienza, staff e artisti, con la mia artigianale galleria fotografica.

La trovate sotto: ho scelto l'inglese per le didascalie ispirandomi all'atmosfera "very international" non solo di Arte Laguna Prize, ma proprio della città di Venezia.

Un luogo da rivedere assolutamente.

Arte Laguna Prize, watch my photo-gallery!

After almost two weeks from my venetian experience, I still have the head in the laguna and a little bit of my heart, too. Martina Bonci was absolutely right. I mean the curly young woman, who had the role to coordinate the staff employed to realize Arte Laguna Prize, which is ending on April 3th: being an assistant in such an occasion, in a magic place like Arsenale, goes much more over your beginning hopes.

Either way, to me it was definitely so and I can tell you that, if I had the chance, I would repeat that experience.

Maybe, my enthusiasm also depends on the fact that I have met the Prize when it was already at the edition 10th, and on the fact that the climate which I was inspiring in the huge former ships' factory was really international.

The finalists and the winners of the present edition were 120, coming from 35 different countries. It has been as in the big three rooms of the Nappe there was the whole world.

In other words, year after year, Arte Laguna Prize seems to have become one of the most prestigious prize in the contemporary art's environment.

But, even if you don't know this world at all, you would have considered enough meaningful to look at the joy of the winners, when they were approaching the stage to receive their awards.

So, I must tell Laura Gallon, too, that she was right. She is one of the two founders (with Beatrice Susa) of the prize. She suggested me to come to Venezia just before the opening and during it.

Only in these days, I could have had the opportunity to see the increasing tension, which is normal before an official ceremony, and the satisfaction just after it. For a journalist and a kind of a writer as I am, it was really amazing.

In a few words, I gave myself a really beautiful Easter's gift.

That is why I would thank all the guys (the staff and the artists) who have lived my same experience, making the photo-gallery you can see above.

I hope my English is not so bad: please, forgive me for my mistakes.
